smlm 19 june (jumaat) dgn kelam kabut dan hampir surrender nya sy berjaya gk submit thesis.. mane tak surrendernya.. time nk anta tu la printer kat lab asik buat hal. print 2,3 keping sngkut.. mcm tu bila nk abis.. dah la kena buat 3 copies. 1 copy dah 100++ pages... mak, ayah ngn abg gg dah smpai dah.. so tmbh lg pressure.. sbb sian dorg tunggu lama2.. akibatnya dgn geramnya printer kat lab tu diketuk2.. bkn nak baiki tp geram.. dan akibatnya ada component kecik yg tercabut yg menyebabkan printer tu xleh pakai.. puas ati.. huhu... sudahnya balance lg sikit tu print kat luar je.. lg cepat... wpun pas print tu perasan ada typing error.. tp xpela.. yg penting examiner tu nk tgk method. yg lain x pe kot.. ayat menyedapkan ati sendri.. huhu


pas print thesis, anta buku kat PSZ.. pastu amik parent yg tunggu kat msjid.. pastu blk bilik kemas brg.. seb baik tinggal sikit je tak kemas lg.. rs mcm tinggal sikit je brg tp penuh gk keta. dok blkg dgn brg... abg gg blk naik motor...

im at a new place, but i had been at this block on 2007, just in different room..~terkenang lak zmn B amik dan anta gi keja.. here was the place.


sbrnya mls nk pindah sbb next month dah nk balik. so kena pack dan unpack byk kali lak. tp nk wt mcm mane. Jumaat ni ada PALAPES lelaki nk msuk. nk tak nk kena la kuar. kalau pompuan tak kisah. leh je dok kat blok tu.. tp sy dah pack siap2 asingkn yg nk guna ngn tak. so yg tak guna tak yah usik. just unpack yg nk guna je.. bijak kn.. hehe


stlh 2 ari naik turun opis kolej akhirnya smlm amik kunci bilik baru. kena sewa bilik sbb dah tak jd Pembantu Felo lg.. sehari RM4.50. so sbln RM100++.. tp tak taw kena byr ke tak sbb K.I.V lg.. spttnya ms nk msuk dah byr. hrp2 FOC la.. hehe...


smlm minta tlong ilah angkat brg guna keta dia. actly tak jauh pn blok baru S25 ni dr blok lama S19.jln br bape minit. tp sbb nk angkut semua brg so mnta tolong ilah.. kalau jln kaki mau kurus.. pnt gila.. naik turun angkat brg dr tingkat 3. seb baik la bwk turun dan blk br takde tngga ~aras bwh.. kena timbang ni kot2 turun 2kg ke.. hehe

FYI bilik baru ni kecik sikit. mmg bilik utk sorg. bilik lama tuh besar, bilik double dpt kelebihan dok sorg.. ;) tp tak kisah sgt la sbb dok sorg kn kecik ke bsr asal selesa. gpun kat blok ni sy tak keseorang sbb Kak Mala dan kwnnya pn stay kat cni. so ape2 hal ada la mber..

a BIG surprise for me when i went to Perpustakaan Sultanah Zanariah (PSZ) UTM this morning.. wow rajinnya diriku ke PSZ di pagi ahad.. tido lg syok kn tp dgn tekad utk setelkan keja ku gagahi juga.. but end up with main intenet gk.. hehe..


seperti biasalah kalau bahan utk engineering kat aras paling atas, 5th floor. ms selak buku kat meja tiba2 terperasan something..

ms smpai tu ingatkn dah start, (was late 5minutes) tp rupanya x msuk dlm dewan seminar lg pn. n ms smpai tu rs mcm artis lak.. sume mata memandang – kebykan dorg tuh bdk final year SMK (mekanikal – marin tech) merangkap super duper junior laa… dorg pn kena pksa gk tuh.. nk je tnya dorg “ape pandang2. tak penah tgk perempuan cantik ke” mau terkedu depa.. haha.. tu ayat febret bg kat Azief sbb suka sgt tgk his only auntie ni..

Title: Fast Sea Transport for Inter-Island Development in the Archipelago of Indonesia : A Case Study and an Innovative Design Solution.

Executive Summary (from email sent by Droy)

The vast archipelago of Indonesia poses special problems of developing modern, fast, comfortable and safe communications for passengers and light freight. In the last decade there has been an exponential increase in the range of air services with a significant decrease in unit cost. On the other hand sea transport has remained undeveloped. Many passenger vessels are unsuitable for their trade with dismal standards, and increasingly expensive. Cheap air transport raises public expectation, but it only works where the centres connected are both large and prosperous, for instance Surabaya and Makassar. It also requires a suitable distance the cost being largely in getting the aircraft up and down. Flights of under 100 nm become increasingly uneconomic. There remain countless small islands that need developing either for tourism, or for their natural resources. For these there have been attempts to introduce fast sea transport. So far none of these have proved particularly successful; hydrofoils, catamarans and various semi planning and planning hulls have been tried.

In April we were asked to do a feasibility and assessment study on a semi planning fast ferry, Kartini I, provided by Central Java Regional Government. We found that the high costs of running such a vessel, combined with its unpleasant sea keeping in off shore conditions rendered it techno- economically inefficient. We were asked to make recommendations for improving the sea keeping of the existing vessel and to recommend further vessels. After considerable research both in traditional design solutions and in those further field and we came up with a proposal for developing a LAN (Long And Narrow) type vessel. This offers high speeds with small engine power, excellent sea motion and aircraft type comfort and facilities. We hold that our criticism of the existing design and service, recommendations for short term improvements, and our research goals of developing a new type of vessel that offers high speed and safety against small fuel requirements could have wider significance throughout the archipelago.

this training is compulsory to all collage, but KTC used to make it on some blocks only
..coz our buildings are so many n hard to handle.. jd knk2 baru ni la jd sasaran;)

Konvo dah pon berakhir pg td.. congratz again to everyone.. all master and PHD student convo on 1st day, conferred by the Chancellor of UTM, Her Majesty Sultanah Zanariah Binti Almarhum Tunku Ahmad. bdk bachelor mechanical engineering konvo 2nd day, 3rd session.. juz as ours, 1 and 1/2 years ago.. sape agknye yg conferred the degrees to them..

Rs nye bdk yg konvo this time intake year 2004 (dr matrix), or 2003 (tahun asas) or may be some of them intake 2003 (intake matrix) or 2002 (tahun asas) yg extend.. alaa... bdk meki kalau extend tak heran pon.. normal thing la tuh.. tp x taw la bdk skng ni ade extend ke x coz jadual kelas dorg already arranged by faculty.. leh abis on time unless kalau ade repeat paper.. *ejau x pnh repeat paper ok. wpon sgt mls bljar.. x caya leh tgk kat sijil degree.* mcm zmn ktorg dulu kene susun jadual sndri.. mmg tunggang langgang.. huhu... sgt indah kenangan ittew.. *smile* gpon kalau bdk dr matrix extend x de hal sbb pndah credit 26 je (tgk result gk la.kalau sume cmrlang dpt la 26 tuh) compare yg direct intake dr SPM. kredit dpt dorg for 2 sems more than that.. so no wonder la..

Added, engineering from UTM x kira la ko extend bape lama pon,max 4 sem la, as long pointer above of 2.7 mmg sgt sng dpt keje.. 2.3 pon leh idop lg.. keje pon yg related dgn yg kite bljar.. so no waste la.. jgn blaja lain, konon abis on time tp keje ntah ape2 gk.. huhu... no offence ok.. gpon majority industry people already know, grade UTM lbh tinggi dr U lain.. dpt 85% br A.. tmpt lain 80% dah A kn.. cume starting 2007 sem I, the grade had changed.. dah sama taraf ngn U lain.. ape la dorg ni.. kn elok grade tinggi, ni gi turunkn.. nk bg ramai dpt 1st klas ke ape.. kalau wt time ktorg dulu kompem leh dpt 1st klas nye.. huhu.. tu pon ade org nk compare kn my result yg engineering at UTM ngn x taw ape cos dr u lain.. so the conclusion jgn suka2 nk compare result kalau cos n u x sama..huhu..
Batch ktorg ramai gk yg extend.. may be 70% .. but im sure more than 50%.. extend pn 1 sem je.. tu pon bape credit je pon.. amik Projek Sarjana Muda (PSM) ngn BI je.. tp alhmdllh so far sumer keje bgus2.. jd engineer or at least lecturer.. yg smbung blajar tak ramai.. marine's student myself je yg further master.. tu pon sbb dpt offer n got allowance.. time dpt offer master ade gk dpt some call letters for interview from some companies at KL tp reject sbb mls nk gi interview.. aci x.. at last accept je offer master nih.. gpon dpt allowance kn sape x nak.. Alhamdulillah rzki x pnh putus.. pas abis study x de chance mengaggur lgsung..

huh..i thought i dont have to take a Naval Architecture 2 (NA2) tutorial class for this semester ANYMORE.. unfortunately, my supervisor, PM DR Omar B Yaakob (full name lg tu..geram punye psl!!) asked me to take his class this semester.AGAIN..if i were not met him yesterday then i must be saved... yeke..he must searching 4 me, call opis or sms me..huhu...

oppsss..please hoccay..im not repeat NA2 subject.i already took this subject when doing my degree..lulus dgn bergayanye lg..oh really??? huhuhu... i have to be a tutor without pay.. he told me the allowance are included the tutor job.. but its not fair!!! Yogi (Indonesian, another master student supervised by DROY) dont have to teach any class..he will just take charge of the examinations. n both of us will mark the exam paper as usual..

actly i met DROY yesterday to discuss about my project progress..he not settled my problem but added a new question which i have to think about very very HARD..the time is just around the corner..our target are to build a model after raya n we have to decide the suitable materials n components to be used as soon as possible, on Sept may be..then we can order n purchase what are needed..

in the middle of the discussion, while i was stucked, he said " i need ur help.. as usual"
'is he will going anywhere in this time or sooner? nk kene wt surat ke' my mind babbled..

So kesimpulan yg ktorg leh wt adalah international students ni sgt mengada2..ade ke kite kene ikot rentak dia..tolong ckit...surau pon nk aircond mcm ank raja la pulak..org Malaysia tak kisah pon..bilik pon nk ade kitchen..weiiii...agak2 la...org dah wt cafe sediakn mknn korg pon tak syukur..dorg tak taw Malay language, even Bahasa Inggeris..so mcm mane diorg leh blajar luar negara..kite klau nk kuar oversea segala exam kene amikk.persedian tah ape bagai..dorg mcm senang2 je nk msuk..English pon tarak..at least klu x pandai BM pandai BI acceptable la..cmne la diorg blaja ek..lecturer kompem la speaking BI..dorg phm ke..huhu..nasib korg la..dah msuk negara org pndai2 la nk idop..dah tu leh lak ckp rkyat Malaysia kat negara org tak leh independent..bajet dia bagus laa...

...berani la kutuk kat cni..smlm x bidas lak..mls nk lyn..lntak la dorg bkn phm pon kalau baca blog ni..kolokium kali ni abis ikot ms yg ditetapkn..gua ngantok bgt sbb smlm tak tdo blk pas subuh mcm sll..huhuhu...

5th ANNUAL UTM CARDBOARD RACE

this 5th annual was held at UTM Lake at 830am..18042008..its 1st for me watching the race..actly this is one of the project of SMK3332.. students are ordered to build a boat using cardboard and tested in UTM Lake today..this time the students are divided into 14 groups..4 groups are ATMA's students and others are PERDANA's..

this pix showed some panels judging the design of the boat...and students did last preparations b4 its launched by Droy.

the race began..everybody help to put the boat into water before one of team member sail the boat..tol ke ayat ni??

some were sailing even thought not soo smoothly..and some were collapse in the beginning of the race...huhu

yeay..we have a winner..from ATMA..congratz guyz..miss my ex-ATMA..smpt lg tuhh...
